Linda Robinson, author and national security issues expert, will discuss her newest book, Tell Me How This Ends, which explores the world of Gen. David Petraeus as he searches for a successful resolution to the Iraq War. Robinson, who has over two decades of experience covering wars and insurgencies, gained unsurpassed access to Petraeus, to classified briefings, and to his intimates while writing the book.
A book signing will follow the program.

Bob Dole and George McGovern received the World Food Prize. Bob Dole and George McGovern received this year’s World Food Prize for their crossing party lines to create a program to alleviate hunger and promote education among some of the world’s poorest children.

Former Senator Bob Dole heard the Biden announcement while campaigning for Senator Elizabeth Dole today in North Carolina and had the following statement: "I have known Senator Biden for two decades, worked with him on a number of issues and consider him a close friend. We may not have agreed philosophically on every issue but we have respect for one another."
