Cori is responsible for media relations, event logistics, public communications, advertising, and marketing strategy. Joining the Dole Institute in fall 2007 as a communications student intern, Cori began full time at the Dole Institute in 2009 after completing degrees in journalism and economics from the University of Kansas. During her undergraduate years, she also interned in the Office of then-Governor Kathleen Sebelius and with GMMB, a DC-based social issues marketing firm. A native of Topeka, Kan., Cori was enticed by politics at a young age by her father’s bedtime stories—tales of courage and honor featuring former Presidents Kennedy, Eisenhower, FDR and others.
