Since 2004, Judy has been responsible for preserving, processing and making available the Dole Archive’s extensive collection of photographs, artifacts and media recordings. She also prepares exhibits, coordinates the Dole Archive volunteer program and provides regular tours. Judy received a BS degree from Florida State University and a Masters in Historical Administration and Museum Studies from the University of Kansas. Judy’s career includes 16 years of archival and exhibit experience working at the Watkins Community Museum of History in Lawrence. Among Judy’s personal interests are documenting local Underground Railroad sites, historic preservation and genealogy. She is the author of Douglas County, Kansas and World War II: The Homefront and Beyond and is a member of the Kansas City Area Archivists.
